Carrots can be hit or miss in the garden. Over the years it’s been more miss than hit for me but this year I used seed tape, which has the seeds on a long white tape and makes it easier to sow the itty bitty seeds which resist germination unless kept totally moist til they sprout. The plants then want loose soil and need to be ready to resist the dreaded carrot fly before it gets too hot! I just started pulling what I sowed back in March and it’s off to a good start!

Desmedona rose by @david_austin_roses in a @royalcopenhagen vase purchased at a garage sale last year. White blooms with a lovely Old Rose fragrance. The blooms change color ever so slightly as the rise opens and ages, especially once in a vase.

My tomatoes are clinging to life in the cold spring we have had here in Seattle but at least the @david_austin_roses in my garden are flourishing!

Looked like January outside this morning with dark sky and pelting rain! These were extra cheerful at 5 am! TGIF!
